Matt and Wendy would like to welcome you to Stony Optical.
Although we have changed our name, the faces are still the same. As a practice, we are extremely happy to announce that along with our new name, we have new owners who you will already know as Matt and Wendy.
Matt is one of our Optometrists and Wendy is our Practice Manager and one of our Dispensing Opticians. As experienced and dedicated members of the team, they both share the same values of keeping all of the things we love about the practice the same.
Formerly Lesley Arkin Optometrists, our practice has remained in the same place in Stony Stratford ever since Lesley founded her business in 1981. When Lesley decided to retire, the practice was sold, but the staff all remained.
And now that Matt and Wendy have taken ownership they can ensure that Lesley's values and professionalism remain as the foundations for the practice we uphold today.
The whole team have over 100 years of combined service at the practice, and are all very delighted and excited for the future of Stony Optical.
Eye Examinations
Book in today with one of our experienced Optometrists. At Stony Optical we have Matt and Philip, who have both been with us for over a decade.
Aiyla and Fatima, have been with us over two years and both share the same values as our practice.
We also have our friendly Dispensing Opticians, Wendy, Charlotte and Paul.
Contact Lenses
Our experienced Contact Lens Optician, Maria, is with us to help with all of your contact lens care. From the first fitting to the important aftercare, our team are here to help you find the perfect fit. We also offer contact lens schemes.
Reception Team
You will still recognise the welcoming faces of our receptionists. At Stony Optical we have Joy, who has been at the practice for over 30-years, and Alyson who has been with us for over 20-years. On reception we also have Tracy, who joined our practice seven-years-ago and our newest team member Jane.
